Properties: Lemongrass is antiseptic, antibacterial, and deodorising.
Lemongrass essential oil is energizing and zesty. Soothing, healing and invigorating. Use with massage to stimulate circulation and ease stiff muscles. May also be used as an insect repellent, especially effective against fleas, tics and lice. Lemongrass is especially good for refreshing tired feet, and balancing and toning oily skin.
Uses: Massage, baths, vaporization and may be added to base emollients.
Blends well with: Basil, Bergamot, Black Pepper, Cedarwood, Clary Sage, Coriander, Cypress, Fennel, Geranium, Ginger, Grapefruit, Lavender, Lemon, Marjoram, Orange, Palmarosa, Patchouli, Rosemary, Tea Tree, Thyme, Vetivert and Ylang Ylang.
