Properties:Lemon Verbena essential oil is refreshing, reviving and energising. A very good antiseptic which also has a “pick me up” effect. If you feel emotionally run down or are suffering the effects of the night before Lemon Verbena would be a good oil to choose. It can sooth indigestion and aid relaxation. Lemon Verbena also has a softening effect on the skin and can help to reduce puffiness.
Uses:Massage, baths, vaporization and may be added to base emollients.
Blends well with:Elemi, Lemon, Neroli and Palmarosa. Caution:Always dilute Lemon Verbena essential oil to less than 5% before application to the skin. It is non-toxic and non-irritant but with possible sensitization in some individuals. This oil is phototoxic and causes skin discolouration when exposed to bright sunlight.
