Extraction: Lavender Absolute Oil is solvent extracted from the freshly cut flowering tops of the evergreen shrub Lavandula angustifolia.
Aroma: Lavender Absolute Oil has a sweet, floral and herbaceous scent with a balsamic undertone.

Properties: Lavender Absolute Oil is one of the safest and most commonly used oils in aromatherapy. It is both relaxing and stimulating, a powerful antiseptic and healer, and it relaxes, refreshes, invigorates and lifts the spirits.
In aromatherapy Lavender Absolute Oil is excellent for releasing tension, counteracting tiredness, lifting the spirits, improving minor skin problems and soothing aches or pains when used in massage.
Because it is so gentle, it may be applied undiluted to burnt skin or insect bites and is safe to use during pregnancy.
Uses: Massage, baths, vaporization, poultice, compress and may be added to base emollients.

Caution: Always dilute Lavender Absolute Oil to 5% or less in a carrier oil before applying to the skin.
