Extraction: Elemi Essential Oil is obtained by steam distillation from the resinous gum of Canarium commune.
Aroma: Elemi essential oil has a fresh, citrus and spicy scent with a balsamic undertone.
Fragrance note: Middle.
Properties: Elemi essential oil is antiseptic. It is a rejuvenating tonic and may help to optimise a youthful complexion. The aroma helps to release the stresses and strains of the daily grind.
Uses: Massage, baths, vaporization and may be added to base emollients.
Blends well with: Cinnamon, Frankincense, Lavender, Myrrh, Rosemary, Clary Sage and other Spice Oils.
Caution: Always dilute Elemi essential oil to less than 5% before application to the skin.
