Extraction: Clove essential oil is steam distilled from the leaves of Eugenia carophyllata.
Aroma: Clove essential oil has a rich, spicy, stimulating and warming scent.
Fragrance note: Middle.
Properties: Clove essential oil is a powerful antiseptic and has positive effects on digestion when used in massage. It can also be used as a mosquito repellent.
Uses: Massage, baths and vaporisation.
Blends well with: Benzoin, Eucalyptus, Lemon, Orange, Rose and Thyme.
Caution: Dilute Clove essential oil to less than 1% for use on skin.
